Who organises my consumables e.g. gloves, inco sheets, catheters etc?
ACC pays for and organises your consumables as per an assessment of your requirements. you may need to contact ACC if you are running low on specific items.

This is an ACC requirement and is a safeguard for you if you cannot administer your own medication.

Can caregivers change my SPC?
Only in an emergency situation. ACC contract and fund District Nurses who are registered nurses to fulfil this role. your caregivers will be taken through training by the Area Supervisor to ensure they know what to do in the event of an emergency SPC change.
