Pandemic Information

Keeping you informed

Influenza pandemics must be taken seriously because of its capacity to spread rapidly.

The World Health Organisation has declared the spread of Influenza A H1N1 a pandemic and the Ministry of Health are in Code Red. This means that although the virus is no more severe than other influenzas (possibly even less) they are still trying to control the number of people getting it at once.

McIsaac Caregiving Agency is taking this seriously and has developed plans to help safeguard the well being of our staff and clients.

If you hear anything that may affect our staff or service delivery, please speak with your area supervisor in the first instance or for more information, view the documents and links listed below.
